  Our tea masters balance black East African teas to create the perfect base for this blend. Then we add our signature blackcurrant aroma and real blackcurrant pieces to infuse this strong tea with a distinct fruity flavour. A touch of mint adds a lighter touch, taking you to nostalgic summer gardens and hedge-lined country lanes. It’s no wonder that many people love our Blackcurrant Burst tea, which has been in our range for over 20 years.
  
  Each tea bag is foil-wrapped to preserve freshness and ensure that every cup of your tea is full of flavour. Blackcurrants are a popular summer berry grown in the countryside, used in late summer to make drinks, desserts, jams and add to dishes. We have created this blend so that you can enjoy the taste of our excellent black tea and blackcurrants in one cup all year round. This tea is surprisingly invigorating when drunk hot, but if you prefer, you can also enjoy the taste of the berries in a cold blackcurrant tea. Pour water over the tea, add sugar, then simply dilute with ice water. We like to add a slice of lemon for a citrusy note.
  
  Temperature
  Heat fresh water to a rolling boil or to a temperature of 100C.
  
  Infusion Time
  Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea bag.Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 3-5 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.
